Re: NFL TTM Thread
I managed Henne while he was in college via home, but I don't think he's a very good signer anymore. I wouldn't expect anything from Woodley. Still waiting on Roundtree and I'm not really optimistic about it since its been months now. If you pull off Henne or Woodley, ill be impressed.shadow316 wrote:Yeah so, remember that post I had the other day about not sending out anymore requests until I get a success? I knew I wouldn't be able to stick to that! Seeing all these posts about Michigan players, past and present, has inspired me to work on my Michigan collection while I wait for some of my Redskins stuff to come in. So here's my list of who's going out either today or tomorrow:
Chad Henne
LaMarr Woodley
Roy Roundtree
Junior Hemingway
Of course this means I will now have to buy another book of stamps. I've decided not to post where I'm sending my requests from now on, since it makes no sense for me to get flooded with PMs about what address I used when in some cases I'm not even sure if it's correct. If I end up adding more to this list, I'll be sure to post it.

Not going to send anything that'll take more than one stamp for Henne or Woodley. Probably just an IC or a 4X6. If I don't get it back, no worries. Thanks for the heads up about Roundtree though, maybe I'll try Hemingway first and see what happens.

Re: NFL TTM Thread
Collie has been a great signer c/o Colts, who seem to be forwarding their mail during the lockout by the way. I wouldn't send to Benson, don't see him as the TTM type. Probably could've gotten Freeman last year, but probably not now. I play on trying Breaston myself, so let me know how you do. Never seen a success from Celek, but that doesn't mean he won't sign.marauder10 wrote:does any one have addys for cedric benson, steve breaston, austin collie, josh freeman or brent celek

Re: NFL TTM Thread
I've gotten Celek from his home addy so there's your success. Id have to dig for the addy. Its been months now. Wouldn't waste my time with Manningham, Breaston or Freeman. Manningham mostly won't sign in person...doubt he will sign ttm. One time I got him was only because I was wearing his Michigan jersey. He ran over, signed the jersey, instructed the crowd he was signing the 1 item, snapped a pic, and ran away. I've never seen him sign again.
Re: NFL TTM Thread
After reading that I just got this mental image of him running away from a bunch of disappointed people, hahaha! I don't know what position has the worst percentage of signers, WR or QB. Seems to me like they're pretty neck and neck.Luigi Fioravanti wrote:I've gotten Celek from his home addy so there's your success. Id have to dig for the addy. Its been months now. As for me, still in the middle of a major slump. Nothing since May 26th or 27th, so I'm still being locked out TTM. I'm hoping that my latest round that I'm sending out will lead to some sort of a signing

There are a few people I could send to and be almost guaranteed an auto, but I'd rather stick to athletes I want rather than sure autos. Makes it all that more satisfying when I get a return.

Re: NFL TTM Thread
Yeah it was a disappointed crowd. Like I've said, all skill positions are tough gets, especially established stars. DB's can be. OL and DL tend to be do-able and LB hit-or-miss. It all depends on how much these guys are approached to sign because they get sick of it. That's why the guys that don't get recognized often are good signers. I have no problem getting guys at Giants camp who no one recognizes other than me. I say their name, they come over. sometimes they even comment that they're happy someone knows who they are. Now when Eli, Brandon Jacobs etc come out and everyone knows them and wants them, the answer is always no. Same really goes for ttm. Mario just hated signing from day 1.
