I know this thread is titled Basketball HOF project, but i thought I would post a hockey HOF success since vjw started the thread and collects hockey HOFers as well.

Glen Sather- sent 2 index cards c/o NY Rangers address on 3/31
received signed 5x7 postcard with Mr. Sather's autograph on 4/6

vjw- Guess you didn't catch my wire hanger reference.

The movie "Mommy Dearest" was about the actress Joan Crawford. "No more wire hangers, ever!" is an often quoted line from the film.

If you never heard of it you could probably Google the phrase and pull up a clip from the film.

ha, yea, I figured it had something to do with the actress...unforunately never saw that film. How many HOF request do you have outstanding right now?

Not that many Basketball HOF requests that I'm waiting on right now. Just Wanzer & Kundla. There are probably two dozens requests that I would like to get out over the next month or two.

I am wanting on six Hockey HOF requests:
Jacques Lemaire
Bobby Clarke
Brad Park
Emile Francis
Ted Lindsay
William Gadsby

I'll try to mail out my hockey trading cards to Rod Langway and Michel Goulet next week or so.

Waiting on one NFL HOF request: Mike McCormack.

Not bad. Most of those Hockey HOF'ers are great signers. I currently have about 48 basketball HOF'ers out and 10 hockey HOF'ers out. I've been sending out like crazy this year...we'll see how it turns out.
