Re: Wrestling Collectors?
It really depends on the wrestler as he is coming around signing honestly. At the table signings during the show and after.. you can only get one item signed, unless you buy a promo also for like 10 bucks, then they sign the one item and give you the signed promo. That's the way it was at the couple I've been to.

Re: Wrestling Collectors?
"They" ended up being Hogan, Bischoff, Abyss, Jeff Jarrett and the new TNA Champion.. JEFF HARDY! I kind of like the twist there. I'm sure they'll find a way to screw it up somehow.. but right now.. cool ending.

Re: Wrestling Collectors?
Bound For Glory was pretty good, love that Jeff is the new TNA champ, twist was good, hoping now that he is the champ he will be at the show on the 23rd.
Kyle.

Re: Wrestling Collectors?
Just got back in from Daytona, and what a week it was. Well worth the price to be there and get the chance to meet everybody there this weekend.
After doing Lockdown, Hardcore Justice, and now Bound For Glory this year Val and JB recognize me at the Fan Interaction stuff. Pretty bad, right? Saturday was outstanding, the new photo pack was great some of the 8x10s are the same ones from Lockdown's but most of them were new. Unlike Lockdown they were more organized and started on time and there was better moderation of the VIP to regular guest lines so all of the people with the VIP tickets got to meet everyone whereas at Lockdown a lot of VIPs (myself included) were upset about not getting through lines like RVD, The Outsiders, and Kurt Angle because of the 1:1 ratio that the people controlling the lines were doing. I was lucky to get all the guys I missed at the hotel that weekend, but some folks weren't lucky. This time they were doing 2:1 and 3:1 which helped people holding VIP tickets get through a lot quicker. Sting and Flair again were great, stuck around later than they were scheduled to. At one point a member of security told Flair to hurry up and he told them that he was interacting with his fans and would talk to them and sign as much as was put in front of him. I got my 8x10 signed, and all of the New Era (Debut, Monday Night, Dynamic duos and the Obak cards) and all of the Icons cards signed. Sting I got the 8x10,the New Era cards, and the '08 Impact Authentic Action card signed. This weekend I decided to just take more than the '08 iMPACT! and the most recent TNA set and I'm just 3 cards away from finishing the '08 Impact project needing James Mitchell, Salinas, and Curryman to round out the set, and I got a great jump on the Cross The Line, Knockouts, '09 iMPACT, New Era, and Icons projects. I asked Don West if they still delivered the fanmail to the wrestlers and on what kind of basis they did that and he said they usually do it every 2-3 months and whenever the talent that live outside the area are in Nashville. TNA will be back in Nashville early next month so hopefully the lot of us that have a bunch of requests out to the TNA address will start to see them coming back in the next month or two.
At the hotel last night I got to catch Mickie James who wasn't at Fan Interaction Saturday and thanked her for the stuff that she signed by mail for me, she said she was glad to do it and appreciates the support. Everyone was cool as usual, and this time when AJ said that he would come back downstairs after dropping his stuff off in his room he actually did! Gonna be tough deciding whether or not I'll be stopping in Atlanta in April for Wrestlemania or if I'll do Lockdown again. Guess I'll just have to see how the programming goes over the next few months and decide which of the shows I'm enjoying more.
Haven't gone by the mailbox since last Wednesday, so hopefully I'll have some more autos waiting there for me when I go later this afternoon. Between the Smackdown show and the weekend in Florida I'd say last week was a hell of a week for me and my collection.
