lol I haven't been getting much autos thru the mail lately. I did send out a lot of band requests via email who said they would sign something for me soon. So...eager to get some of those guys back.

i just got back a classic 1980s pic of pantera that i sent first to Terry Lee aka Terry Glaze who was pantera's original singer who signed and personalized it for me and then i sent it to Vinnie Paul who also signed and personalized it for me... too bad ill never be able to get dimebag to sign it... now i just gotta figure out how to get Rex Brown to sign it for me...

I got Rex Via Venue when Down was on the '07 tour by themselves. I don't know if you want to risk it though, I haven't seen many replies for him, but maybe no one else is writing him, either.

Possibly my biggest response ever (That's 15 years of collecting!) came today.

I wrote to Blake Judd of the American Black Metal band Nachtmystium, and just sent two index cards to sign.

He sent:
2 Stickers.
Their 'Demise' album on vinyl, signed.
10 CD's! That's right, 10! He runs a record label and sent a selection of Nachmystium, Zoroaster and other cd's! The Nachmystium ones were signed.
A small t-shirt for one of my kids, with a sweet pentagram and the band logo, can't wait for one of them to wear it to school.
And a 4x6 photo of the band. On the back is written, 'The only copy of the first Nachtmystium promo photo ever. taken 1/10/99. Thanks for your support!!!-Blake/Nachtmystium 2/09'.

I don't remember being this excited! I have a lot of new music to listen to!!

does anyone have any ip experience with zakk wylde of Black Label Society and also of Ozzy's band? im going to see BLS at the house of blues in myrtle beach SC friday and i am trying to meet him as i am a huge fan of his and this will be my first bls show!!

Well, i don't think you would have much luck with slipknot - They would get loads of mail plus some bandmembers are a bit weird (Isn't there one who hates people? The one with the spikey mask?)

Update on the Blake Judd success, from Nachtmystium-I just got a two page letter from him today. He's such a cool guy! Said my letter made his ol' lady cry!

went to the "black label bash" in myrtle beach friday night...

show was great...

i was snubbed by zakk wylde not once but twice... once before and once after the show... so that really sucked... i did get autographs from 4 of the 5 members of sevendust and also caught 2 picks from them... i also met and got autographs from 2 of the 4 members of dope (who played a very impressive set)...

the only member of bls that signed at all was jd and he was a very nice guy came out and signed and posed for pics and was even handing out postcards promoting his band cycle of pain and their cd that comes out tuesday...
