Today's success..

Mike Knox - 1/7-2/8 - Signed my '09 Topps, '09 Slam Attax cards and filled out my q&a. I was STOKED(!) with this return! I am a MASSIVE Knox fan and this was another on my most wanted list. Here's the pic..

I agree with what you said about not parting with your collection DeathBoy. Along with many cards and photos I also have a plethora of baseballs, bats, mini helmets, footballs, and other equipment and I would not part with any of it. The thrill of getting that new autograph TTM, IP, purchased or pack pulled, is why I do this and that means more to me than making money off my sports memorabillia. That is just my opinion. It will always be a HOBBY to me and not a buisness.

I agree, I started doing this when I was recovering from hip surgery to stop going stir crazy. Every time I get something back it brings another positive from being stuck in a chair for 6 months, so I'd never sell anything that I got back and it drives me crazy when I see things on Ebay that were obviously just received TTM. As frustrating as it is that people charge crazy prices for their autographs, I think if I was giving mine away and saw people then selling it on Ebay I'd be pretty annoyed by it, and it ends up screwing the rest of us.

I agree with you CubsFan. This is a hobby for me not a way to make money. Everything I have form TTM, IPor purchases are for my own personal collection and it is people who get the autographs and turn around and sell them that are making it more difficult for this hobby.

Its kinda sad that some people do decide to do that. I get my stuff for myself and my nephew and thats it.

I dont think by "not sharing" addresses its going matter for those that do sell. I would venture a guess that they are on pay sites and if they really want an address, they'll get it one way or another. One thing I did notice is that even if the person personalizes it, they still list it on ebay and try to sell it. I saw a guy trying to sell a Hornswaggle card made out to Jason.

My success today is from WWE Hall Of Famer Ricky Steamboat. I sent a DVD sleeve to him and received it back signed and inscribed "the Dragon". Used the NC address.

Awesome one man! I'm a Knox fan as well, and I was pissed when WWE released him. I thought he would've been a great monster heel.
