It was one of the thicker ones so it was for one of three people being Bret Hart, Ric Flair, or Booker T & Sharmell. The back of it was taped down and when I opened it I found the second set of cards I'd sent to Bret back in July along with $20 to cover the first LOR I'd sent where I forgot to include cash for Canadian postage. Bret paid for the first one and sent back the two cards and in this second one he signed the other two I sent and included 2 more.

Both released. I'm sure my Mick Foley one is long gone.
Just because they're gone doesn't necessarily mean that they don't forward it to them if they want it.
Happy Birthday mate :D .

I hope this does mean he's going through his mail as i sent him a promo in November/December time. I think it says a lot that Bret goes through his fanmail and even goes to the extent of paying for the return on fans item. What a class act. I have met Bret numerous times and canhonestly say he cares when people take the time, effort and money to meet him.

Today brought back 1/3 of the world famous boy band 3-count, Evan Karagias. I guess he's been in a couple of movies and things in the last year. Congrats on everyone's returns lately, hopefully they keep coming...

Just got back from Shawn Michaels autograph signing at the Autorama here in Indiana. Got there about 10:45am and were prolly 75-100th in line. He was scheduled to start at 1pm and started right on time. He seemed to be in good spirits and was making conversation with everyone even if they werent saying much. I got one of those new green old school WWF logo t-shirts signed. My friend came with me so i could get two autographs so I had him get a DX trading card signed. Good day! Happy to add two Shawn Michaels autographs to my collection. Shawn is also doing two other autorama shows as well.

Yes pictures were allowed but the rules were you can lean over the table for a picture. People are not allowed beside or behind the table. Only one autograph per person. They had a photo you could purchase for $5, the photo was pretty generic of him standing there. It was not a wwe promo photo as these aren't wwe appearances. Honestly his promo photo reminded me of Larry the cable guy, it didn't look good. So make sure you take your own item. I'll post photos of my items a little later

I can atest to that. I have several personalized items on my Bret Hart collection with special (sometimes long) msgs that he signed out of the kindness of his heart just because he loved my letters so much. I have no doubt in my heart (especially after seeing so many wrestlers - Ric Flair comes to mind - acting like jerks when fans humbly approached them in my country) that he is the wrestler that cares the most about fans and is the nicest to them. He really takes the time to show the fans how much he apreciates them.
I have one big example: a few guys I know waited for him in Germany at the hotel just this past Nov. It was midnight, he was coming back from the arena where he and the Hart Dynasty had just wrestled The Nexus. He was visibly tired and had a wake up call for 5 am.
They were at least 10. He took the time to talk to each and every one of them, signed everything they throwed at him and took photos with everyone. Here's where they did wrong in my mind, they were so high with adrenaline that they followed Bret everywhere and acted a bit like stalkers.
In the middle of all this, Bret was on it's way to his room when he was approached by a lady asking him if he could take pictures with a group of marines, he imediatly and happilly went back to the lobby, took pictures with them, and proceded to go back to the elevator.
These guys never let him out of their sight and continued to follow him to the elevator, then proceded to bring more dozens of items for Bret to sign (when he had already signed a bunch of stuff for them).
You think he blew them off ? No, he signed all that stuff for them, talked some more, took more pictures with them and more ppl who then appeared and even humbly asked if they had liked the match and that he hoped he didn't disappoint them too much with his performance.
I saw the video of all this and you can really feel bad for Bret as they really took advantage of him and worn out their welcome. He was extremely tired and they just wouldn't let go. In the end, Bret could only go up because DH Smith appeared coming from the elevator and they proceded to nag him as well, Bret seased the moment and went up to sleep just a few hours before taking another plane trip for the next stop on the tour. I can tell you, if it was probably any other wrestler, he would blow them off after the first minute or two.
Bret hang in there for half an hour of more and was nice from the first to the last minute. He is a true hero.

That was very well said about Bret. I've met him 4x and he has always been a class act. I got him and Evan Karagias in the past 2 days. Funny how I get something and go on to report it, I always see somebody else just received the same thing from the same batch. Congrats to everyone.
