Yes that will be fine as long as it is clear. {up}

I just sent out a request to the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre for the cast of "God of Carnage" (mainly after Lucy Liu and Jeff Daniels) but I addressed it as follows:

'God of Carnage'
Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre
242 West 45th Street
New York, NY 10036

How bad is it that I didn't include something to the stage manager in the address?

I don't think it will matter. I'm sure all the mail goes directly to the Stage manager anyway and he or she will sort it and any envelopes without a cast member's name on it will be opened by the Stage manager. It is a good rule to remember to inlcude "ATTN: Stage Manager" on all future requests though if your not writing to just one of the cast members. {up}

Thanks. Ryan. After reading some of this thread, I realize that I probably went way overboard with the return postage, not knowing how large or heavy Playbills are. Better too much than not enough, I suppose. The whole cast would be cool, though, as I said, I'm mainly interested in Lucy Liu and Jeff Daniels. The others would be a cool bonus though. {up}

Glad I could help you out! How much postage did you use? I live in the USA and it only costs me .88 cents for a playbill. So just one .44 stamp on each envelope. {up} 6x9 are the best to use. {up}

Well, I was using a 9x12 manila envelope with some cardboard in it; I wound up putting on around $2.70. I know, I know, I could have saved myself around two bucks if I'd read this thread beforehand. Live and learn, I guess.

Edit: I also sent a request to Catherine Zeta-Jones at the Walter Kerr Theatre; she'll be there till June 20, so I guess that's cutting it a bit close. Keeping my fingers crossed, though.

Just a quick proposal: We became in fans of Spring Awakening this week but unfortunately, when we discovered the show is ended so, if anyone has a playbill signed by the cast between 2007 and 2008 and want to exchange or selling, please, contact with us ;). Thanks

Getting into the Tony Award spirit today, I decided to make a website to display my autographs, and uploaded my collection of 49 signed playbills today! This has been a great year of Broadway, and collecting these playbills has perhaps been the highlight of my autograph collecting experience.

My new website can be found here:
http://chewie.fotopic.net/

Click on "Playbills" to view that collection. I just started it today, so the other categories don't have much, but will be expanding.

Just wanted to share that with you guys! Commercial's over so I better get back to the Tony's! :lol:
