He sent me a Batman about a year ago, he was rumored to be doing something with Superman years back but nothing happened.

This is a recent careful purchase from eBay. The first screen Superman, Kirk Alyn. It matches all of the authentic examples I could find.

I bought two copies of the FF 587 and have yet to open either. I thought my first copy was scratched but it didn't appear to be, it appeared as if there was design in the 3Logo and I noticed that white part of the logo was see thru.

Image

The second copy appears to be a normal copy. The white background is not see thru.

Any thoughts, a production error?

Most likely a production error. I wonder if these will be considered a "variant" cover now?

Today I got my sons comic book signed ttm by Paul Chadwick. I wanted to send him one of my issues of Concrete, but opted for my sons Mighty Mouse comic he did the cover on. He seemed very surprised to see it since he did that one cover so many years ago, but gladly signed and returned it to me. He also informed me he charges for any sketch, starting at $100.

Hello,

I was hoping someone might have contact information for a few artists I am trying to get in touch with. I have been looking for John Estes, Lou Harrison, and Joe Phillips (all of which I believe live in various parts of California). I am also looking for Paul Lee. I have emailed Estes at estesillo@aol.com with no response, and I have tried both Lou Harrison and Joe Phillips at several different mailing addresses. I wish I was better at the social networking sites because I know Phillips is on Facebook, or Twitter, or both, I guess I may have to try that route if no one else has any better ideas.

I am trying to get the entire 1994 DC Master Series set of cards signed by the artists, and these four, along with Tony Harris (who I will get at this year's Planet Comicon in Kansas City) are the only ones I still need. Unfortunately Estes and Phillips both have a lot of cards in the set (9 each).

I do have multiples of most, not all, of the artists in the set if someone is interested in trading for useful information on any kind of known successes.

Thanks.
