Packers- James Starks, B.J. Raji, John Kuhn, Tramon Williams, Sam Shields, Jordy Nelson, Clay Matthews(hopefully!!!), Donald Driver, Nick Collins, Andrew Quarless, A.J. Hawk, Jermichael Finley

Browns- Brandon Jackson (ex-packer)

Rams- Austin Pettis (rookie)

Lions- Ndamakung Suh

Bengals- A.J. Green (rookie)

Bears hall of famer- Richard Dent

what do you guys think?? :?
Dent last time I checked charges a signing fee. He maybe feeling generous right now because he just got inducted into the HoF. Who knows? /shrugs

We've seen a few raji sigs recently on this board. A few other of those lesser known players should respond, provided that you didn't send the same form letter to each one of them. I'll be interested to see if you can get Driver. He's an underrated player.

There have been a few successes from Kuhn recently, so I'd say he's a lock. Collins signs, but it'll take a while to get it back. Hawk has signed c/o home before, don't see why he wouldn't sign c/o team. The other guys I can't say I've seen a success from, but the Packers are great with their fan mail so I'd say you have a shot to get almost all of those. The only reason I think you may not get Clay is he's probably gotten swamped with fan mail since last year.

Suh is a no go, nobody seems to get him. I saw AJ Green successes c/o home on another site, so it's possible. Jackson should sign if the Browns actually get it to him and the same for Pettis.

As for Champ Bailey, I never got anything back so I'd say the address is a no-go. Granted I sent it out in the beginning of June and haven't heard back so it's possible, but I'm not holding out much hope now that the season has started.

I'll be posting a pics of my recent successes sometime tomorrow. Hopefully this will be a big week for everyone!

I've decided to mail the Packers ones out day after day so it doesn't look like they're all the same letter ( they're not i just love my Packers haha) and will probably also mail Hawk's to his home.. I can't wait to see who I get back from!

I also sent out Peyton Manning and J.J. Watt (played for the badgers!) today, I just can't stop writting letters!

Nothing wrong with being passionate about your team. Good idea sending them out a couple each day though, that's what I do. I am a huge Redskins fan and I have sent quite a few requests there since camp started. Not to speak for him, but leebo just sent out a bunch of request to the UFL team in Sacramento. Those of us who have been doing that for a while call it a "blitz". I've always said collect who and/or what you like. If you're a Packer backer, send as many as you like. Just don't get discouraged if they come back slowly, it can take some time.

As for me. out today were Brad Smith and Shawne Merriman (giving it a shot) c/o Bills and Pat White c/o Virginia Destroyers. The Destroyers are a new franchise, so I'll be sure to let everyone know how they do with fan mail. Haven't checked the mail yet today, so we'll see what it brings.

I just tried a few long shots. Sent Donovan a Syracuse pic because I have been a huge fan since I saw him decimate Michigan by himself years ago. 1st time I've ever seen Michigan lose at Michigan stadium plus a pretty good letter IMO. tried Braylon, c/o niners.... I will be surprised if I get that one back. Tried Tai Streets, I have confidence I'll get that one back. And Marlin Jackson c/o eagles. He's on the dl right now so I dunno bout that one. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed on all of em.

Tony Romo is an erratic signer. I've seen him take about a year in some cases to dig down into the bottom of his fan mail bag.

I typically send multiples. Remember to only send what you are willing to lose. Sort of a general rule of thumb is the more popular the player, the less likely the player is to sign. That being said 2 is a fair number to always send, as any more than 3 is considered to be a bit rude. By getting 2 or more cards you can also verify if it is authentic.

I've gotten ahead of myself on occasion, and have sent more than that, but in those cases I usually offer something in exchange, such as extra cards for them to keep.

Sorry I've been so quiet lately...I guess I have been really busy lately.

What I've pulled in over the last few days:

Shaun Alexander 4/4 (told him to keep two, but signed them instead) about 3 months c/o CAA Football

Asher Allen 1/1 inscribed to me in 6 days c/o Vikings...I believe this is my fastest success to date

Toby Gerhart 1/1 in about 3 months c/o Vikings

Pretty happy with all three, the Allen was unbelievably fast and great successes from a near Heisman winner and a future HOFer.

I post all of my TTM successes and pictures on there.
