also, was in Manchester, UK today. the tna tour was through here, had tickets to the show, but couldn't go. really wish i would have had time to try and get a hogan signature today around the city. was just here for business.

hoping to have some good card returns when i get home, and not ones from 2111 drew st....
If you want an authentic Hulk Hogan auto, the way to go is to meet him at a show or buy one from TNA. Not a very good chance of getting an authentic one TTM no matter what others here claim.

WWE Supershow came through Evansville on Saturday.

The card switched about 100 or so times before the date. I believe it was broadcast to come “Meet the WWE Superstars” where we went because the place was crawling with fans of every size and shape and a few suspected ebayers.

All autos are promo sized unless otherwise noted.

I did get two photo ops because they were convenient. Pretty much all the peeps except John Cena (with one kid before he went on his bus) and Wade Barrett (a couple kids) took grip and grin pics.

The people I got photos with (but won’t post so as not to blow up the spot) were Daniel Bryan and Eve Torres.

First person spotted of the day was a big one. A Big Red one. It was Kane. The swarm went after him and had him tapped out by the time I got to him. He was signing multiples, but with the suspected ebyers throwing out six or seven pics or three figures at a time (he didn’t sign them), he got down to doing one at a time and his mood seemed to switch to bad, really quickly. Kane also signed one for my wife. She was the first person to ask him to sign before he ducked to the restroom. He came out and found her. I thought that was nice of him to walk past all the dealers.

Kane actually ducked to the restroom before he started signing. During that time, I got referee Scott Armstrong on a picture I brought and Beth Phoenix emerged. She was very nice and she signed a couple for me and another three for my wife. I later gave one of the Beth’s away to a fellow collector that missed her and wanted her.

Road agent Jamie Noble was also there at the time that Beth, Scott and Kane were. He asked if I had an additional copy of the promo I had. I straight out gave it two him and he signed the other one I had and one for my wife. He signed one Jamie Noble Boy and the other Jamie Noble.

John Cena was next and if we can’t see him, then he can’t hear us. He ignored everyone. My wife was hawking him as I stayed back after the way he ignored everyone in Memphis. She claims he turned and smirked to her. A father did beg him for a photo with his small child at his door and Cena turned on the “Hey, how ya doing, buddy.” deal, took the photo and dashed in his bus.

R-Truth was also there and he signed two promos for me and one for my wife. My wife got it made to “Lil Jimmy”, lol… Hilarious piece to have. Truth was cool as usual.

Santino, whose character I can barely watch these days with the cobra, grabbed some respect from me. The suspected ebay dealer got one autograph from him and then asked him to sign some more since he was waiting for his baggage and so forth. Told him he’d drove three hours, etc.. Gotten all his favorites like Hulk Hogan over the years. Santino told him “That’s not my problem and that he didn’t own him anything.”

I was next in line after that deal and Santino signed one for me. He also signed one 5 x 7 pic for my wife. I loved seeing him give the suspected ebayer heck, though.

Jack Swagger was also spotted. He was having a great time with the kids in the area and seemed in a great mood. Got him to sign two promos and moved along.

Also found Justin Gabriel in an area off to himself. Very quiet, but signed two pics for me and two for my wife. One was a 5x7 for a friend. Jinder Mahal was having a bad day. He did sign, but did not seem too happy about it. Also rolled his eyes when a guy got his pic made with him.

Oh well, we all have those I suppose.

Next was Skip Sheffield. I got him on a Ryback photo I found on the internet. My wife got him on a 4 x 6 pics and the Sheffield promo. He signed it Ryback. I guess that’s the gimmick he’s being given as he was billed as such at the show later.

Eve also showed up. She was sweet and she signed two pics for me and three (one for a friend) for my wife.

Then, the talent that I most wanted to meet on this card and has eluded me turned the corner where I was standing while the others swarmed Eve. I had Daniel Bryan one on one.

I marked out to some extent, but he was very gracious. He signed my ROH card (from the mass produced ROH DVDs), an American Dragon picture, the ROH DVD cover from his Final Battle match vs. Nigel McGuiness and the 8 x 10 I had of him with the World Heavyweight Championship. Huge to mark this stuff off my list as I’d been holding it for a long time.

Then, The Bellas showed up. They were in good spirits and took pics with everyone. I got Nikki and Brie each on two photos.

That seemed like it was gonna be it for us, but lo and behold, David Otunga showed back up and I chased him down and got two pics (one 5 x 7 and one promo) signed.

Great day with a lot of first time meets…

I think we totaled 41 autographs between my wife and I.

Today was a great autograph day. I went to Wal Mart and bought five packs of WWE Classic and pulled this :

Image

The autos in retail are 1 out of 153

Second the mailbox was full. The first I opened was :

Image

Anarquia signed his base and and The Mexican America base. He left enough room on the MA card so the other members could sign which I thought was cool.

The third was "huge"

Image

He signed through TNA also

and lastly coming off the 25th Anniversary of the Royal Rumble, this came today

Image

He even signed with purple sharpie I sent.
