It would if I had a comic shop with in 45 mins of my house or a decent bookstore.

I have the Doomsday's Reign on my pullist from things from another world.

And I got confirmation that my Godzilla Kingdom of Monsters has shipped.

I was hoping for a B-day return today but whatever.
I will NOT PM you an address.
I will assist you in getting said address.

Closest comic shop to me is a 36 mile drive each way. I set up a pull list and they set aside the titles for me. I try and get in there once or twice a month. If I can't I call and pay over the phone and they will hold them for me until I can make it.

What is everyone else reading these days?

I am in and out of comics these days. I am so over the mega, you have to buy 50 issues to get the complete story, events. I just pick up a few here and there on good ole' eBay. I am a fan of self contained story-lines.

Am I hyped for the doomsday storyline because the Death of Superman got me back into comics.

Thanks for the B-day wishes.

I turned 33 today.

I hear you on the multi-title crossover things. I bailed on Green Lantern when they started up the Blackest Night thing. I stuck it out with Batman and Robin but didn't buy any of the 25 different titles for the whole death of Bruce Wayne thing. (I still have no idea what happened to him or how he came back).

Spider-man continues to be a fun read with new artists to enjoy every few months. Great story lines and just keeps being a fun series.

Happy birthday and I hope it is filled with all the best life can offer.

The collector in me will still pick up important comics IE: the death of,return of, first issues, etc.

I rather enjoyed the Captain America Reborn series because it was self contained. The ending wasn't the best but.....

I even got a few of the variant 1 of 250 covers for cheap when I lived near a great comic shop. He had already had one and decided to sell the other for cover piece.

I so want to buy one of rare sketched IDW Transformers Infestation covers but the cash has got to be there first and then I'll do it.

I got a reply from Chris Claremont today. It was very short and to the point. I sent an email asking if I could please send one book for him to sign and that I would include a SASE and all that. I got....

"Dear Jason,
I'm sorry, but Mr. Claremont isn't able to do this."

Oh well.

I got two successes today.

I sent Brian some of my sketch-cards with a SASE to the Pickles address like he said I should. Sent about a week ago.

Today got my cards back sketched.

Now off to Mr Eric Powell with you.

Love seeing those manilla envelopes in the mailbox! Tom Derenick signed my Robin comic. Included a sketch of Robin too. Took only three weeks. I contacted him via facebook.

sketched covers. 2 days left.
