October 13th

Yesterday I got a lovely success from Harry Potter's Michael Gambon!!!!!! :D :D :D
He plays Dumbledore in the HP movies... {up}
He has a minor illness and that is why he had to pull out of his play "Habit of Art" but now HP star Richard Griffiths is taking over his part, I hope Michael gets better soon! {thumb2}
He personalized and signed all 3 of my Harry Potter photos and he even signed one in Gold! {up}

I'm glad I heard back from him!!!!! {up} {up} I hope the successes continue as I have exams ); :cry:

Nothing in the post today or yesterday {down} Can't really complain though after getting 3 successes over Friday and Saturday - one of which being one of my most wanted :)
Well yesterday I sent out requests for an Oleanna playbill and also to Nastia Liukin and Tony Gardner VV.
I had to use one of them machines where you have to weigh it yourself and put your money in the slot - I never even knew those existed so you can imagine how clueless I was attempting to use it! :lol: I took so long and there was a huge queue behind me. I'm pretty sure it didn't charge me enough too - to send a C5 envelope to the USA it costs me £1.36 at my local post office at home, but at this one it cost 90p. Does that sound right to you? :? Just have to hope it gets there!
When did you send yours because I sent mine in August so hopefully mine will be here soonish!!! :D

Well I sent for Oleanna playbill, Nastia and Tony all on Monday. Which one are you referring to?

I got a success today which had been postmarked from London last night. :lol: :? I thought all the mail was supposed to be caught up in the backlog...

Ken Stott has been announced as one of the replacements in "God of Carnage" on Broadway. I tried him but didn't hear back, so may send again.

Really really hope a success from ASR comes soon.

Good luck all. {up}

It sounds to me like you might have pressed Buy Stamps - I'm pretty sure that one only gives you postage for up to 20g overseas. (It doesn't tell you on screen if your letter is heavier than this). If you use the other option it should calculate the correct postage for you.

Oh that doesn't sound good {down} I was trying to follow the directions exactly but at one point a man that worked there pressed something on the screen and I didn't see what he pressed - That's when the price came up. I didn't question him though because I was so clueless about the whole thing. How long do you think a RTS would take? It's VV so I would like to get it sent back off very soon.
Thanks for the info {up}
