insulting? LOL...

We know some actors/tresses are just too busy to send out autograph after autograph...but do you find Prepinted autographs to be kinda insulting to your "request" or "fandom" of that person?... since you did all the efford of getting the letter out, getting the right photo, postage,...

what's your opinion on the matter?

I hate them but if the celebrity is too busy to sign, I would rather have a pp then a secretarial/autopen. At least with a pp, the celebrity isn't trying to decieve you in to thinking you have an authentic autograph. Well, that's the way I look at it anyway :lol:

I do consider them an insult. If the celeb is too busy than I'd rather wait a year till they're not or get a RTS so I can use my SASE on someone else.

I also much rather prefer a pp then ap/secretarial. Because those are kind of an insult especially secretarials, like we wouldn't figure out that they aren't authentic.
At least with a pp you know what you have right away.

Some celebrities, like Brad Pitt or Orlando Bloom wont ever be able to keep up with their fan mail. They could sit there, 24/7 signing photo's and wouldn't meet the demands of their fans.
A pp is a kind gesture I think. It's like saying sorry I can't sign for you but I'm not going to insult you with a secretarial. You also get a nice photo of the person that you can keep and frame (if you want to :) )

hmm..interesting POV's so far {up}

so we guess the majority think it's not really the nicest thing to receive... But it's better than nothing..OR you rather have an RTC to reuse the SASE :mrgreen:

I'd much rather receive a rejection letter, saying that my request cannot be fulfilled for this or that reason. I have no use for a PP, autopen or stamp (secretarials would immediately be thrown away) - I wouldn't want to frame them, or look at them, or keep them at all. They're useless, and just get chucked one side until someone wants to trade for them/buy them. Rejection letter is far better than a PP.

we know someone who actually has an account on Ebay just to sell whatever possible PP he might be getting in the mail LOL... for him, it doens't matter what he gets for it..as long as he can get rid of them sooner rather than later, it's all good hehe

We hate rejection letters...but we hate PP's even more

i do hate recieving pps because you see a envelope in your mail box you get excited then boom your happyness drops. ive only recived one pp thou which isnt bad at all but still.and yes pps are better then nothing. and i actualy kinda like autoprints i mean i rather have a authentic no doubt but, they can pass for a authentic to non collectors so ya, i have one ap and everybody but me thinks its real and i just say it is, i know its not real but i pretend it is(im talking about the kenny rogers auto ill admit it i know their aps).
