Do you use one "design" for your letters, or personalise eve

Unread post by eveliendorien »

To get tips from other people's letters..

Is there one steady letter you use, in which you just change the details..or do you write a new, completely different letter for each and every person you send a letter to?

And if so...what would be an example for your letter and is it successful?

just wondering {up}

I have a pattern. I tell them first of all what I liked them most in and my favorite project or song of thiers. Then I tell them I can't wait for thier upcoming projects and I name a few. Then I asked for the auto. Then I wish them Luck in thier carreer. Of course I first half changes because I am a fan and there are things I want to say to them but the bottom half doesn't change

All of my letters are different apart from how I request the autograph at the end {thumb2}

My letters follow a format, but it varies on detail depending on who I'm writing to. I always say who I am and why I am writing (whether I'm a fan of a particular show, or specifically of them, in many different shows) then I say something (usually a paragraph or two) about performances of their I have enjoyed, reasons why I like them, what I'm looking forward to of theirs etc. I then request their autograph (or to sign and dedicate the photo I have enclosed). Then I wish them health, happiness etc and sign off "love and best wishes".
Favourite: David Tennant IP, John Barrowman IP, Patrick Stewart IP, Catherine Tate VV.
Newest: John Simm IP, Suranne Jones IP, Jonathan Groff IP.

Hello! ;)

I also have some sort of "format" but all the details are way different (even when I write to the same person twice). {up} The format it follows is like this:
- Par. 1: I write about the celebrity and their work
- Par. 2: I write about myself (they want to get to know their fans!) and what's going on at the moment
- Par. 3: my conclusion where I also politely ask for a signed photo

As you can see, it changes every time as I put hard work into my letters and everyone is different so all the letters I send must be too. :)

Thanks & good luck collecting everyone! :D
