How Do BBC Pass On Fanmail Abroad?

I noticed on a post I think it was magaret channings that said she sent off to the bbc to pass on someone in spain?
how do the bbc do that?
i take it you need to send a sase?

Yeah, I sent to Clive Dunn from Dad's Army and he lives in Spain now. I think the BBC have a database of artists agents and they forward fanmail to the agents. I'm glad that they do this. It's a great way of contacting celebs

I think they forward your letter without opening it at all. I'm not 100% sure though, I'm just guessing
