so i just sent to a jonas brothers show scheduled for august 8. should i have waited to send it?
i wrote the dates on the envelope...any help would be appreciated. thanks

well i checked in the thread that shows what venues pass on, and it listed as one that does.

The venue is probably gonna hold on to you're letter until the concert and then pass it on :]

I agree. If you already know that the venue is good with fanmail, I'm sure they'll keep your letter

I've sent some almost a month early before and still been successful. The key is you wrote the date in there, so they know how long to hold it!
