How much did you spend on your autograph collection (postage....)?

I think collecting autographs is really cool, but after a while it's getting a little bit expensive, but as long if you go only for you favorit celebs, i think it's possible.

I've spent hundreds of pounds over the years but in comparrison to other hobbies, I think autograph collecting is pretty cheap. I only spend about £10 a month {thumb2}

Yeah, well, when I didn't know anything about this hobby, I was a lot richer But now I couln't give it up just because of money....

I don't spend much at all because I only use envelopes that require one .42 cent stamp. And I always include a SASE so that would be about $1 every time I send something out. And I don't send stuff to countries outside of the U.S. So it's pretty cheap for me. :]

becaus I just started I'm sending out ALOT mostly people who I've liked for years. So I'm spending a lot but I think in a few months I won't spend as much because I would have already sent to my most favorite

If you live in the U.S., this is a pretty much extremely cheap hobby. As someone said, about $1 with just a letter/index card/sports card, or up to about $4ish when sending a much larger photo yourself.

For the record, the USPS is a STEALLLLLLLLLLLL!

True, but i live outside the U.S (damn ). But i will write only my favorits. Im collecting horrorautographs (only the classic ones), so before i know, i've contacted everyone i wanted.

For me, this hobby cost me a lot of money! because i live in UAE its in the middle east and i mainly send my request in the US and UK, so, umm, yeah, it cost me a a bit much. BUT its totally WORTH IT!! at first, i send out a lot of request! but now, i cant send that much anymore, cause its vacation and i dont have any money, but my school is going to start in 2weeks(bummer) but i will have enough money to send out requests again..LOL this hobby is really addicting!! and all the money you spend for the postage, wont matter when you receive a lot of autographs..haha

Thanks Miley, it's true, for people who lives outside the U.S, it's a little bit expensive hobby, but like you said it's totally worth it, it's such a thrill when you receive an autograph.

Yeah, like today, cause i havent had a real success in MONTHS! So, im soo excited, when i receive my Envelope back, i sent Demi Lovato a SAE and a picture and 1 index card, but she only signed my index card, but im really happy!! my hand became cold! hahah!
