When writing a letter what do u do?

Unread post by 10900228 »

Hi I was just wondering how much info about yourself do you put in your letters? I usually just say my name and my age. Do you dedicate a paragraph of your letter to info about yourself or do u do what I do?

Just curious :D

I put my name, age, where I live and the hobbies that I like. You can make it as detailed as you like, just don't go to overboard that it makes the celeb quit reading your letter! :D

I tell them my name and age and anything that's relevant to them. For example, when I wrote to Richard Carpenter just after my sixteenth birthday, I told him that I had a 70s party for my birthday and that my friend Ray & I went as The Carpenters! Lord knows what he thought of that but I told him anyway! :lol:

I just write my name and talk about my favourite shows or films they've been in.

When I wrote to an actor who was in a 70's comedy (almost 20 years before i was born) I told him my age and said the comedy still lives on {love}

I tend to just say my name and age and I might mention anything else about me if it's relevant with what I'm talking about.

I wouldn't like to say too much about myself as

a) they might get bored and not read it all
b) they might get uncomfortable getting a letter which is more about me than them ;-)
