Question on stamps?

Hi,

I recently wrote to Sergio Ramos (footballer) in Spain. I sent using a British 1st class stamp, so does this mean my letter will have got to Spain?
I also did the same to Bayern Munich in germany?

I have sent to Spain and Germany with first class stamps and have reply's from the people so i am sure that it will be fine.
