I'm not sure if it is just me being dumb or whatever but how much exactly and what stamps are needed to send to this address (Bearing in mind i live in enland

For US International postage, see the Letters column of the following table
http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/cont ... tId=400036 You're best taking it to a post office though, as I'm unsure whether the small/large stamps are needed for International too.
You don't need American stamps on your letter to US, but you will need them on your SASE (or include IRCs).
