This is why some celebs aren't signing TTM anymore. Don't know who this is, but I hope they're not on here

Hi Melinda! ;)

Ugh, that upsets me so much! :mad: I mean, you can't blame celebrities who don't sign TTM - I can only imagine how many other people abuse the addresses and real fans missing out on this oppertunety to receive an autograph from their favourite celebrity. :( Unfortunately there isn't much we can do about it but try to keep our conscience clean by not "spamming" celebrities. {up}

Thanks for posting,
zanne

This is sickening, but unfortunately there are many people who do this.
In fact, we've got two of them on our very own forum that I know about, one moderator and one normal member :roll:

I read all of that and was pretty shocked. I mean there is no guarentee that that person can get the auto anyways. Ugh. I've only sold one on ebay and it was my extra kate voegele and it was to someone I personally knew. And it was only for like 10 bucks, and half went to charity. lol.

Surely that violates eBay's TOS? There's no guarantee a reply will ever come, and therefore the biddee has no gaurantee they'd get a PP or an AP or authentic. They could bid on the presumption its real and then wind up with a PP.

It does violate their terms, I already sent a messge to them. No item in hand, it's a violation. It's sad though because that is also why a lot of people are getting to where they don't know the address they used.

Oh good thankyou. I tried to and got bogged down with their numerous categories and subcategories of complaints lol

Not sure what the item is but

If they haven't got the item in hand its still allowed to be sold, BUT it has to be sent to the buyer within 30 days.
A paypal dispute can easily be made (for under £500) but if the items paper sized anyone can put a sheet of paper in the post to a buyer via recorded, if the buyer signs then paypal don't help at all.

What was the item? I cant see it

It was basically a "buy any autograph". You tell them what autograph you want, and they write to the celeb for you. Just a big rip off.
