I am making this thread because I am curious about what kind of autographs you collect and if you have a goal of some kind concerning collecting.

For example, I read that a user on here is trying to get all 50 US Governer's autographs.

My personal goal is to get a signed picture of every main Lost cast member + the executive producers. I just started this about 2 months ago and I have two autographs so far. (Henry Ian Cusick, Michael Emerson)

So... What is your goal, if any at all, and how close are you to reaching it?

My Goal.... well I guess I don't really have one.

I try to send out weekly and send to stars that sign well and you hear a lot about.

I'm not going to go send out a letter to someone i barely knew.

So I guess my goal is to get my success in under a year. I send out after Christmas season, when the mail is not so slow.

I guess thats my goal!

My main goal is just to get a lot of music autographs. They are the main part of my collection. I have a lot at the moment, but my goal would be at least to get 500 pictures up on my Webshots of just musicians. :razz: I'm about 1/4 of the way there...

i suppose my goal is to get all the Eastenders autographs.

Also i need to sort out my collecting as i started collecting just by sending out to people i heard that signed and that i wasn't really a fan of. So i really need to get my act together as its costing me money as i dont even care about my non fans lol.

oo i just thought well i live in the UK so i want to learn how to post to the US for american stars. I know how to do it, its just rather confusing to me - im only 14

At the moment I am trying to get all the autographs of the actors from Casualty as it is one of my favourite programmes.
I am also trying to get the autographs of the people from some of my other favourite shows such as The Real Hustle but it is not proving as successful.
Also my favourite authors, I am writing to them all one by one and if/when they send a signed pic I will keep them inside my favourite book by each of these authors.

I don't have any goal with autograph collecting, I simply write to people who I admire a lot. I am a big fan of films and TV shows, so I mostly write to my most favourite actors & actresses. I also don't write very often at all, so this is really just a hobby and nice-to-have thing to me - it's not like I will stop being a fan of celebrities who don't reply! I just feel that, since I am a big fan of certain people, it would be nice to tell them so personally, and to receive an autographed photo from them in the mail is quite "rewarding" to me. {thumb2}

I have a list of about 125 celebrities that I aim to eventually have the autographs of. And none of those 'celebrities' you get these days, proper established actors/actresses/musicians/comedians.

I had to think about this question for a while because only goal which I could think of was simply to get autographs of all of my favourite stars. But then one goal crossed my mind. I hope I'll move to Englad, preferably to London, after I finish university (in six years) so my goal is to go to as many premieres as possible to get autographs of people who don't respond TTM. It might sound like I'm crazy but I'd really like to reach this dream of mine .
