How do you get the adress of Venues for actors and how risky is it?

Via venue can be risky, just like sending letters through the mail. Like Hayley suggested check the via venue section and find out what places will pass on fan mail and which ones dont. Just don't send anything in the mail that is really special to you as there is always a chance that you may not get it back.

Great advice. Never send anything that you can't replace. There is no guarentee that you'll ever see your items again.

Not all venues will forward fan mail. You must call to confirm they forward fan mail to the actors on the set. If you can't get a number, or don't call, then you are taking a risk you may never see it again.

Or ask in the thread if someone can verifiy the production office forwards. By this I mean they have called them and asked. Not that they just think it does. More than once I have called the PO myself only to find out they don't forward.

Most production offices do forward, but some don't.

Also, you need to check the lists of celebs that are known to sign VV. You can find this in the VV feedback forum. There are a lot that "don't" sign VV. I have learned that through my own experience, and through talking to other collectors, and reading posts in the forum. If you are not sure do ask! {thumb2}

Or . . . you can take a risk and hope for a success. It's up to you.

For singers, bands, comedians etc (not filming locations), use the Ents 24 website.
