I am posting as a lost girlfriend of a dedicated autograph collector, looking for the perfect present. I know not to buy autographed items since I won't know what is authentic/valuable, etc., and he prefers to get the autographs on his own anyway. Any ideas for supplies, items to be autographed, etc? He is big into baseball, but goes after any sports, celebs, politicians, etc. I figured other autograph collectors would know best! Any suggestions are appreciated... thanks!!!

hhhmmm thats a hard one. maybe buy him a special pen to write letters with or get something for him to display his favorite autographs in.

Ha ha how about stamps or envelopes. They can get pricey or a nice photo album with non acid sleeves. Pens are also a nice idea or personalized paper with his address on it already so you dont have to add it. Hope this helps and doesnt sound silly. Good luck!

Stamps are always number 1 on my list! How about a subscription to Autograph Collector magazine?

The magazine would work, or even you can create a little "autograph collection basket" with a small amount of stamps, photopaper, nice pen, regualar paper, envelopes, or even a small binder to keep them in!

Yes I like Peanut1234's idea! You know a gift hamper, fill it with lots of autograph related things such as a stationery set, paper, envelopes, stamps, IRC's, baseball cards, a photo album, photographic paper etc. I'm sure he'd love it!
