Probably not, it's considered rude not to send a SASE.

Always try to send a SASE or IRC, your chances of getting a reply will simply be much better. {thumb2} Also, you
want something from someone, you can at least pay for postage.
Lewis
does sign authentically via McLaren, but very, very rarely. :neutral: I got a surprise authentic autograph from him back in 2007.
Nowadays, successes are mostly preprints or secretarial inscriptions with sec auto or authentic (very rare, but still).
