Autographs for the future

Hi, I'm new to the forum and this my first ever post so be easy on me!
I've been collecting autographs for over a decade now. Like a lot of people, I've noticed that certain signatures have rocketed in price over the years. Sometimes this is due to death (e.g. Colin McRae) and sometimes its availability (e.g. Ringo 'Peace & Love' Starr).
So, I was wondering, out of all the celebs who currently sign today, whose autograph will be worth the most in say 20 or 30 years time?
P.S. I DON'T WANT THIS TO END UP LIKE A 'WHO'S GOING TO DIE SOON' GUESSING COMPETITION - I'm just wondering who you think is on the brink of superstardom.
Regards,
Stu

Hi inkystu!
Firstly, welcome to Fanmail.biz! {clap} I hope you enjoy it here!
This is a very interesting topic, Stu. {thumb2} Hmm, I will have to think a while about that, but the first person whom I thought of was "Twilight" star
Robert Pattinson.

My reasons: well, he's literally getting stalked and I've heard stories that he's not so keen on signing anymore (which is totally understandable, actually). Plus, there's no doubt he's
the actor in Hollywood right now, and, on top of that, he's not just another "teen star" - he's extremely talented.

I've already seen his autographs being sold for around
$50+ at Autograph World.
You're definitly right about Ringo, especially that he has now stopped signing TTM. People who got his autograph is very lucky!
Thanks!
zanne

I think it will be people who have a chance of dying in the next few years with diseases such as Jade Goody and Patrick Swayze (God forbid that happens).

I think most of my musician autographs would probably go for a lot in 30+ years, especially my Metallica cd booklet.

I know this threat is written for a good purspose; however, it does run a risk of spammers/ dealers spamming the celebs to get an autograph which will rise in value

J.K Rowling in my opinion, she's accomplished so much, her books are just fantastic.

Honestly, I don't think Chelsea Staub will stop signing authentic TTM autographs. She's a really sweet girl, and she gets a lot of Fanmail already, so I'm sure she can deal with it good. She's one of my favorite signers because she's so nice.
