Hey guys, just wondering which music icons and bands autographs you have, and how you obtained them
I'm really interested because I'm going to start writing to some bands soon.

I'm not a big singer/band collector, I usually go for actors. But these are the singers/bands I do have:

Zoo - An Irish boyband. They supported Brian McFadden on his tour a few years ago and they were doing a meet and greet before the concert. I got a picture signed by the members and me and my friend got our picture taken with them.
Kute - A Welsh girlband. They were the support act for Girls Aloud on tour. After the concert they did a meet and greet so I got a picture signed by both members and I got my photo taken with them both.
Cassie Compton - I went to see her in the play 'Little Women' and asked a security guard at the theatre if he could get her to sign my programme for me and she did

Kute - A few months after the concert I sent them a christmas card and told them how much I enjoyed the concert, and they sent me another signed picture back wishing me a Happy New Year

Cool thread Nich, bands and musical artists are mainly what I collect. I started to list what I had but it would be easier just to point you to my site (Link in my sig). Under each band or artist, it will tell you how it was obtained

I mainly collect bands love metal/rock so thats the music most..but i have too many to write down xD

John Fogerty signed record. I purchased this from his official website. He only sold about 20 signed records
Eric Clapton Signed photo. He signed threw the mail in the 90s and my brother got it for me.
John Sebastian signed photo. I received this ttm
3 John Mellencamp signed photos all received ttm.
Elton John signed photo. Purchased
Little Bit Town. I purchased a signed cd of theirs when I went to a Carrie Underwood concert they were opening for.

My grandpa used to drive a limo and he was able to snag some autographs from the big bands of the 70/80's. He got all the records signed in person. So far I've found:
