YouTube Videos of Celebs Signing
I came accross this interesting YouTube channel. It has hundreds of videos of celebrities signing autographs. Sometimes the celebs seem kind, but most of the time, they act like pricks. It makes me wonder if they really take time to sit down and sign TTM autographs, or if most of the autographs we have been getting are secretarials.
BEWARE, these videos may make you think a lot less of your favorite celebrities.

That's the channel I check out to see who's signing in person or not. I know the people that take the footage. Some people just don't sign and other times, it just depends on their moods.

Re: YouTube Videos of Celebs Signing
Perhaps I just picked the right people to check on but they seemed OK to me.
To be honest, I think most of them would prefer signing things in private as and when they want to. Rather than in crowds of people randomly giving them things to sign.
I don't think it is possible to disappoint someone somewhere if you have a lot of people thrusting things at you to sign, and then some people want photo's and some people want answers to questions they ask.
I'm not sure I could deal with all that, trying to please everyone as best you can while people are screaming at you to do this and that.
So I think I can understand if some people are great signers when they're at premieres and things.

Most of those people are in the McCartney video are dealers, they can get pretty vicious. As you probably know, Paul McCartney = $$$. That's how autographing is in New York Citymiley cyrus fan wrote:some of these fans are pathetic, but the most patehtic was that paul mcartney video my god whats wrong with some of those people. the majority of celebs ive seen in the vids ive watched are nice thou, i just hate that some of these autos get sold.

Hi!
One important thing you have to remember is that autographs in person and autographs TTM is two way different things. You simply can't compare it and say "oh, he doesn't sign in person so it's not him who signs TTM".
That's not how it works. There's celebrities who see autographs in person, while they're leaving a restaurant or walking on the street, as an invasion of their privacy, so I can completely undertand if many of them will refuse autographs. Take actor Will Ferrell for example, he's known as one of the worst in person signers, but what about TTM - he's brilliant! He seems to enjoy going through his mail while performing on Broadway, and loves responding with funny inscriptions. {thumb2} And what about Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp, they're amazing signers in person, right? And how often do you see them responding authentically (via venue)? Almost never... Can you see the point I'm trying to make here?
Thanks for the links!
I like to watch YouTube videos of my favourite celebrities signing for comparison reasons.
Regards,
zanne

Re: YouTube Videos of Celebs Signing
I have to agree with you miley cyrus fan. A lot of the fans seemed pathetic to me as well.
I'm a naturally shy person. If I was ever in some of those actors shoes, I just don't think I could personally cope with the wailing and the screaming and the pushing and shoving. I mean, I understand people are excited, but there is a limit. You can only sign so many things at a time. It was like watching a pack of animals sometimes. I think Robert de Niro was one of the worst for over-reacting fans.
And I understand what you mean zanne. I have often thought if a celebrity is seen returning from a funeral or something and they get pounced on by a fan who doesn't think before they act, and they turn the fan away, it's completely understandable. We know they have made their money with the help of us, but there has to be a line drawn sometimes.
It is strange what celebrities prefer to do. I know I would be TTM all the time!

Re: YouTube Videos of Celebs Signing
If you watch Dakota signing, there is some vicious people, but she's GREAT with in person AND through the mail. She was just dealing with it all, everyone says they're freezing and she was in a dress! Haha, Dakota is awesome.
But yes, I noticed that site and it's good to watch sometimes.
