Does anyone get nervous when sending?

Hey guys! This probably sounds weird, but does anyone else do this;

If I send to someone VV and don't get it before it closes or after a few weeks, I get nervous and think it got lost in the mail. Now, I just recently send VV and still haven't gotten it back so I'll have to see what happens.. but I always get nervous that it got lost or I didn't put enough postage, I don't send again, but like I said I still haven't gotten anything back, and it makes me feel nervous. Haha, I worry a lot. But does anyone else think this, or am I just nuts? : P

I think i get more disappointed because I sent the Cheetah girls VV in December... I've sort of given up hope, mostly because well.... i sent pictures and worked hard on it... but I think we all get a little disappointed in this hobby!

whether i send via venue or just regular i always get nervous wondering if i will get anything back

defenitly until i get my first succes from the sending period im always nervice, this is why i dont like to send so much and im also like you, i worry about to little postage or did it get lost in the mail why is everyone else getting a succes and not me, oh the list goes on and on, this hobby can be very frustrating but when you get a auto in the mail its very worhthwile. until my drought ends thou it will remain frustrating.

When I've wrote to anyone VV it has always been via a play/pantomime so that means they'd be at the same theatre for a month or so, so there is no way it doesn't get there in time but I still never hear back! I don't send VV very often, 3 times actually, and only got a success from one (Patrick Swayze) but unfortunately it was a PP. So I don't have any hope for the other 2 now because their panto finished 2 months ago. Anyone else who wrote to someone via panto got their success back while the person was still in panto.

Im hopless when it comes to nerves. Even when i send out a regular request im always worried ill never get anything back!
I guess in some respects it makes it better when i get it back because its almost like a surprise
Im very bad when it comes to VV requests i have sent out Album covers ill probably never see again, which is disapointing but hey thats what this hobby is all about you win some you lose some.

I've only got 4 autographs, I'm new to this but I wouldn't call it nerves.

No. I do my research and only send to adresses that have a 90% of replying. {thumb2}

I agree, I never expect to receive anything, even from people that are known to be good repliers.

I've been doing this TTM since 1998, and I send to a lot of people who are known repliers, and I've sent a few long shots too. I do get nervous sometimes, especially if it's someone that I really want. I always worry about the good ol' USPS, and if something is going to get lost.
