Question when sending VV

If someones performing on a Sunday, when should I send out? Also, the venue is about 15min away from my house.
I would say early Friday morning so it leaves with the first batch of mail. This way it should arrive the next day on Saturday. I can't see it taking more than a day. But if you're really worried, send it on Thursday later in the day and just be sure to write somewhere on your envelope "Please hold for _____ concert on (date)."
