You're not really getting two autographs. You're getting a handwritten FRANK and a signed FRANK, plus - What is the use in having the same picture signed twice?RYAN J. wrote:Okay, here's a simpler explination. Say I wanted to write to Frank Langella (Who only signs one autograph per fan) When I send my letter I would write my name as Frank instead of Ryan, that way when Mr. Langella signed it he'd personalize it to Frank so in a sense I would have to autographs from a celeb that only signs one per fan. Does that make more sense??cb1892 wrote:I don't really understand that.RYAN J. wrote:Thanks to all who left comments! Example:
To Miley,
Best Wishes!
Miley Cyrus
I didn't mean writing to the same celeb again, but actually writing your first name so it's the same as the celebs and they personalize it. Hopefully that made sense.![]()

Well in a sense it would be two autographs. Just the personalization would not have the last name.

Oh I understand now! I thought you meant write to the celebrity once, and then write again pretending you share their name.
But no I still would never do that. You wouldn't be able to show it off because it wouldn't feel like it was really yours.

I still don't understand the purpose. Sure you'd get two autographs, but other than cutting the photo apart, it would be on the same item. And again, the personalization wouldn't have the signers last name. Just doesn't make any sense why you would do that. To most everybody else, it would come across as a weird coincidence that say Frank Langella signed a photo to Frank.
