Hey guys

First of all.. don't get too worked up about the title and this topic, I'm just providing you with some information. I still have hopes that we'll get successes from him soon.

I came across some articles about Robert Pattinson being afraid of "death threats" that come with his fanmail, causing him to be pretty hesitant to go through it. I was just thinking this might be a part of the reason (other than that he's extremely busy and he gets tonnes of fanmail, of course) for the delay?

They basically all say the same thing, I'm providing multiple links for the reliability of the articles. Just providing you with info, but you know how exaggerating some of these magazines can be, so please don't be discouraged by this.

That is understandable, but he could always get someone to sort through his mail first and only pass on the suitable ones to him. I understand how busy he is also but many other actors manage to keep up with their fanmail. Hopefully he'll get round to it all soon and we'll all get our responses

and I sort of agree, that he could have someone else glance through it first

I understand he's busy, but I'm hoping when he's not as busy he'll be able to respond

Aw, I just adore Robert - he's so nice and humble! {love} I can't imagine anyone to send him "hate mail" or to any other celebrity, for that matter - I think it's extremely low, pathetic and just plain jealousy. I would never do that, not to anyone - I think you should just keep your opinions to yourself. {thumb2}

I think it's so cool when celebrities handle their fan mail all by themselves, like reading it, getting a photo to sign (in Rob's case, he always sends a different photo to each of his fans!), writing the addresses on the envelopes, etc! It's so special then, and of course I treasure my envelopes!

aw poor rob. i bet he's just still trying to get used to all the fame. it seems like he was kinda thrown into the spotlight overnight. i mean, i know he was in harry potter but he had a smaller role. i thought i read somewhere he didnt really like large crowds of screaming fans either.

People are so rude to send hate mail! If you dont like him why waste money sending to him?

I do not care for twilight, but he is actually sorta sweet ;D

yeah, it's stupid. And why people waste money in such way? :neutral:
I prefer write LOR to my favourite actor/actress (and spend money for stamps) than write hate mail to some celebs who I don't like...

Yes I know it's very pointless. It obviously brings some excitement to their lives though!
I sent to Rob a few months ago also so I've got my fingers crossed!
