Stamp prices will rise in April! (UK)

On 1 April, 1st class stamp prices will jump from 36p to 39p and 2nd class to 30p from 27p. Yet as long as they say'1st' or '2nd' rather than a price are still valid AFTER prices go up. So stock up now, plus Superdrug currently has a stamp sale, offering 5% off books of 1st class stamps.
I read this today and thought I'd let you all know.
It was also on the news this morning.

Do you know what will be the new prices for 0.50£ and 0.72£ stamps

Aww no way! Lol they're expensive enough as it is! I'm definitely going to have to stick to 2nd class stamps from now on.

I'm sorry I don't know. As far as I'm aware they will remain the same. I'll have a look and see.

Oh no that is awful! We already have overly expensive stamps anyway. Am not happy at all. Thanks for informing us all though. :x

I've looked around the internet and couldn't find any information on other stamps appart from 1st class and 2nd class standard stamps.

It sounds expensive but to cheer you up a litte, just think how much it would cost in petrol to hand deliver all your letters yourself

Again? I really can't believe how expensive mailing things is getting, I thought we were all in the credit crunch?!
