What type of people do you usually send to? Like do you send to musicians, actors, actresses, sport players, etc. And do you aim for A-List celebrities or smaller ones working their way up or who are in a few TV shows and stuff.

90% of my successes are from actresses. I have one or two a-list celebrities but most of them are smaller teen/young adult/child actresses who are in one TV show (and NOT the lead star either) or I recognize them from commercials or cameos. I choose this because A. when they are bigger, and I still love them very much they will be harder to get. And they also have much nicer responses as they don't get much fanmail. I always tend to enjoy characters in movies or TV shows who aren't the main character, no idea why.. haha.

So far, I've only wrote to actors, actresses and comedians that I really admire. I don't care whether they are very famous or just working their way up. To tell the truth, I also wrote to one musician but I didn't request this autograph for myself but for my mother, so it doesn't belong to my "usually"-send-to-list

If I really admire them they will find my letter in their mail {thumb2}, hopefully

The majority that I send to are actors/actresses. Although I do send to quite a mixture. I usually go for not so well known ones like actors on Casualty or Hollyoaks etc. as they are just who I admire! I have also been sending to quite a few TV presenters recently from the shows that I like to watch. I just think they're really nice to have and everytime you watch it you can proudly say "I have their autograph!"

Actors and Actresses mostly but I do meet a lot of musicians IP so my music collection is quite big too

I try to avoid writing to big stars unless it's someone I really, really admire as you're more likely to get a personal response from someone who is not so busy. Thankfully I'm totally in to vintage! (comedies, movies, tv shows, game shows....) So I've been lucky enough to get some really cool responses from people who are no longer in the business and have more time for their fans.

Having said that, Zanne has an amazing collection of authentics from really big stars so you can't always knock the A listers

I have only written to actors and actresses and the odd sportsman.

I will write to any actor that a) doesn't send out secreterials, pre-prints or autopens b) is either someone I really like and enjoy watching or c) they are known to me because of a certain character who I really love.

Most of the big stars that I like, don't send out anything but fakes, so a lot of them I don't bother with, although some do. I like writing to older actors/actresses, people who I have admired for many years and have watched them through all stages in their careers.

I have dozens upon dozens of sports autographs already and that collection continues to grow. I don't really have a specific area, other than sports-related, that I concentrate on. I only have a select few entertainment auto's. For sports I concentrate on hall-of-famer's from baseball and football, Chicago Bear's and Cub's, as well as the Boston Red Sox.

I send mostly to actors and actresses but i like collecting from music and sports stars but for the moment i'm concentrating on my actors and actresses collection.

I mainly send to actors/actresses, and sometimes Formula 1 drivers. {thumb2} I don't send because they are famous or because everyone else like them, but just because I admire them and their work. Therefor, I don't send out letters very often.

I usually send to football players.

Actors and actresses from TV shows or movies I like. That can range from the very famous (Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Derek Jacobi) to the not-so-famous (Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Carey Mulligan, Lucy Gaskell, Colin Morgan). A lot of the time, the ones that aren't so well known give me the most joy, because they still play characters I like.
