Weather?

Does anyone's post get canceled because of bad weather? I mean really. I'm in colorado and were in a blizzard in almost April. The mail has been canceled today, not sure for tomorrow.

just wondering does anyone have this happen? Does it annoy you?

It wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't for the snow in ALMOST APRIL!!!!
This is very unlikely for us but I guess it is happening

Living in the south east of England it would be very extreme to get postal deliveries cancelled by the weather. It is a very moderate part of the world for weather. Even earlier in the year when we had the most snow for 20 years it really was not that much, and postal deliveries continued in my area. There is no doubt that some areas of the country were affected though and some sorting depots were closed which would have halted a lot of mail and caused a back log for a while.

LOL! Even though I live in Michigan (Land of the 4 seasons is what I call it) we still get mail each day (minus Sunday of course). {thumb2}

I live in Massachusetts (I had the power outage in December, ice storms, yes, it was HORRIBLE!). We had it canceled 2 or 3 times this winter, so it wasn't that bad. We had horrible and I mean horrible cold weather until a few weeks ago, and now it's warm. So, yes, it gets canceled, but, no, it's been warm recently so we haven't had it canceled recently. The weather has been horrible lately. That's terrible it's a blizzard in APRIL. Haha.

I'm in the East Midlands of England but I live out in the countryside. When we had the terrible snow in Feb my post was cancelled for several days. We don't get the gritters in my area and I live at the bottom of a valley so it's incredibly difficult to get in and out of my village when it's snowing or icey

We had the tiniest scattering of snow ever in February and my post was cancelled. Others slightly further out got theirs though!

I'm in the south of England too and we had no post for a whole week in February. I wouldn't mind but it didn't seem like we had a massive pile when they did deliver again

I don't think our mail has ever been cancelled sue to weather (not that I remember anyway.)
Scotland is well known for it's rainy weather but rain doesn't stop the post man, he even comes in many inches of snow.

He's a good guy.

Does not happen to much in michigan they just dress warmer!It's a good thing thought we all need our mail.

I live in New Mexico and when it snows really badly then yes sometimes we don't get our mail and it sucks.
