Hi, guys! :)
Have you ever felt the fear that someone could actually steal the envelopes with your ttm autographs (for example, when you are not at home)?

When i have a really dry spell i do wonder if my postman steals them lol. As i use the same SSAE i wonder if he/she notices the same handwriting and size envelope and wants to know why I receive so many.

My only fear is that the postman will forget to use the external mail box and accidently post my autograph straight through the letter box in to the dog's mouth! It has been known! :(

Yeah I have worried about the postman taking it if the celebrity has wrote their name and return address on it and they're a fan of that person or want to make some money from it. But I don't think they would take that risk because they could lose their job or go to prison over it. I have read stories about postmen stealing mail and going to jail, so hopefully that's scared the others and put them off the idea!

Hi!
Thanks for your posts ;-) .
Yeah, the postman is probably the first guy you think of when you consider who could steal your mail, but what about other guys who could actually have access to your mail?
I mean, just imagine for a second your SASE with an inscription like “Don’t bend” and an heavy protective cardboard inside… Forget about autographs: to someone your envelope could contain something valuable to steal, don’t you think so?

Hi, paulmustang1!
I don't think your mail man is going to steal your autographs... Well, I hope it's not going to happen! ;-)
Anyway, some postmen don't like autographs collectors because they say that, with your "Don't bend" envelopes, you slacken their work rate...

Nice topic.

I acutually don't worry, mainly because my post man is really nice and he'll personally ring the doorbell if it's a large envelope with do not bend, but I do worry when it's not the normal post man because I think it might not get to me, but most of the time I'm not really worried about having it stolen because it normally is my normal post man `

I worry about this alot. I think my postman is fairly trustworthy but I do sometimes think that maybe he put it into number 42 in the next street instead of mine because the street names are very similar. We often receive the people from 42 in the next streets mail but I always take it round to them. They have never brought our mail to us, they're not the most sociable people so that may be why, or maybe they've never received any of our mail. My dog also goes for the mail so I have to race him for it.
