have you ever had one thing signed through mail by several?

Unread post by itzleena »

I REALLY would love to get a poster signed by every member of the Twilight cast. But im a little iffy about mailing it out to each cast member after Ive already gotten an autograph from someone. If you get what im saying?

I'm wondering how many people have done this with success? Not just the Twilight cast but with any celebrity or cast?

I havent myself but i have heard people have. If you were sending to Eastenders then you may as well take the risk, they are more likely to reply than if you sent to the twylight cast. I wouldnt risk it myself, you could get a couple of autographs on your poster then not received it back from another cast member and you could loose them all :(

It would be pretty risky.

I have done something similiar and what I did was send what I wanted to send to the other people AND another item for them to sign-so if I lost the multi signed item, I would still have their individual autographs. Still, I only sent it to people who were REALLY good with fanmail and skipped the one who wasn't really regular-it's actually still out there so here's to hoping. [ugotmail]

Getting EVERY person from Twilight might be a pretty big order. What you could do would be send it to 2 or 3 people sign it and then keep it. Once you get a couple autographs on the item you have to decide if you are willing to lose it. So that's my advice.

Hopefully what I've said makes sense, I can blither on at times. :shock:

Hey there :razz:

Personally what I would do, if you have a Twilight cast photo I would send to Robert Pattinson first {up} He's good with fanmail at the moment and like BossC said, send another individual photo for him to sign {up} Then send it to Peter Facinelli, who in my opinion is also pretty good with fanmail... send an individual photo to him also :) And then Nikki Reed? She personalizes nicely with a little message from the successes I've seen :mrgreen: Again, send another individual photo..
Jackson Rathbone and Kellen Lutz are also alright with fanmail {thumb2} But, again, send individual photos :)

Please note that this is just my opinion :) The reason I would send to Rob first is that I don't know how long he's going to be able to keep this frequent signing up, so if he stops signing TTM often (hopefully not!) then you wouldn't lose the others when you send to him :razz: Others in the cast (if they're in the photo :) ) I'm not too sure about but those are the main 5 who are Twilight's best at fanmail at the moment..

I would just like to add that it is a big risk but it would be worth it if you get them right? So go ahead :) Don't forget to post the success on here :) I'm sure a lot of members here will be following this request and see what happens {up}

EDIT: I would just like to add :) Maybe you can explain in your letter that you're hoping to get it multi signed, and send a reasonably large picture/photo! It will be a pretty big blow if there's no more room after 2-3 people sign it! :D

Good luck! {thumb2}

I would start with the ones who are more risky at first and if you have then you could continue with the people who are more likely to sign. My order would be Jackson, Robert, Kellan, Nikki, Peter. But this is just my opinion.

I agree with Nich, seems like a smart way to send, or however is best! Do the easiest signers first, i think...

i dont think its worth the risk, if you loose something that already had signatures on it, how upset would you be? id assume very upset because i know i would.

Right now I'm trying to do that with Astronaut crew photos. For a couple of the people who I wasn't sure if they'd respond, I sent them a small note first asking if they would sign an item for me, sort of as a 'double check'. It's more time consuming because I had to wait for the reply from the note then send the item, but it made me feel better. Also, astronauts don't receive nearly as much fan mail as actors so it wasn't as big of an issue, but that's my recommendation.

At the end of the day, I just convince myself it's just a piece of paper with writing on it, and if I lose it, it's not the end of the world. The reward is sweeter with greater risk....
