It's always polite to add postage but I've seen many successes where the BBC have payed the return postage.

BBC pay return postage so only a SAE is needed. However if your sending to a cast member that is a rare signer or your sending to the cast via their agents I always send a SSAE.

Here's what it says on the EastEnders FAQ:
Q: How do I get signed photos of the cast?
A: The BBC provides signed photographs for free. Please write a letter to the actor, addressing the envelope to them. The address is:

If your sending to that address you dont need to send a SSAE but send a SAE

I have recently sent off for danielle jones and roxy mitchelle on that address.
i have used a SAE, wil that be ok?
Also i didn't put my name at the top i just put my address will this stil be ok? how long should i wait??

A SAE is ok

Just your address is ok, as long as you have signed your name at the bottom, you will have a chance of getting it personalised.

Wait 4 months or so then I'd send another

I have always sent SASE with my Eastenders requests but Im just going to send a SAE now

I always send a SASE to all my autographed photo requests, along with a nice letter.

I sent one to Samantha Janus months ago and still haven't received a reply, so Good Luck!
