To cut a long story short, I'm going to meet Joan Collins on Sunday. {clap} I'm a huge fan of hers and I know that I wont get time to say all the things I'd like to say to her. Do you think it's a silly idea to write her a letter and give it to her in person?

I think it's a great idea
I'm going to do the same...I have already written a letter for my favorite singer (I wrote it 6 months ago) and I'll give him next time his band will be around. So I like the idea {thumb2}
You don't have enough of time to talk to celebrities when you're with them plus sometimes you forget the words you wanted to say. Also for me, letter is a little bit more personal-it's easier to put your emotions in.

I think thats a really good idea
When you meet her tell her that you wrote her a letter because there is so much that you want to say to her because your such a big fan!

Congratulations on your chance to meet Joan Collins! I think it's a great idea to write a letter to give it to her I havn't had many IP moments with big celebrities so far But I can imagine how awkward it can be no matter how kind he/she is!
