Secretarials, Auto-Pen, Pre Prints = Annoying!

It is so annoying when you take your time to write to a celebrity (especially when they are your favourite) and they send you an autograph that isn't authentic. I know that they have busy lives, but they should give a bit more time to their fans.

I hate Secretarials! They are decietful. The celebrity wants you to think they signed it when they didn't and that shows a lack of respect in my opinion
I don't mind PP's and Autopens as it's like the celebrity saying they don't have time to sign but giving you the next best thing. Some celebs get so much fanmail, they wouldn't have a life if they tried to answer it all {thumb2}

I don't mind AP or PP, that's why you do research before sending to a celebrity if you check feedback people will say if it's AP or PP. I do mind Secs though, like I didn't know that John Travolta or Sarah Jessica Parker were secs before I sent off to them. But yeah I don't mind AP or PP since it is like them sending you the next best thing after authentic.

I don't like them, I disdain autopen, preprint and sec. I do understand that some celebs are very busy, and want to accomodate their fans, but the celebs that do the AP or PP or sec "because they can" and because they won't have to be bothered with fanmail are what really irks me.

Of course everyone would want to receive an authentic autograph but I always think it's better to receive something back than nothing. Atleast then it wasn't completely pointless sending. I don't mind PP's, I think they look nice and you can usually tell straight away that it's a PP so you don't get your hopes up. AP's are ok too if you know straight away that it is one, there are certain celebrities who always send AP's so if you write to them knowing this fact then you shouldn't be disappointed. I remember getting Gordon Ramsey's autograph in 2006 and it wasn't until a few months ago when I came back to this site that I found out it was an AP! Very diappointing!
But secretarials are the most pointless things ever and totally worthless. It's the exact same as just signing a picture yourself, has no value whatsoever. I would much rather receive a PP than a secretarial because atleast it's a print of the celebrities actual autograph.

AP and PP are annoying but i dont receive them anymore because i do a lot of research before i send out a request. I hate secs - i think its really selfish how another person makes out its the celebrities themselves who have signed it. People get so excited when they receive and autograph then only to find out the celebrity didnt sign it but just some random person. I find it very selfish. Id rather have nothing back than a sec signiture

if a celeb is too busy than they should send a pp. no ap or sec. pp is better than ap ot sec.
