If I want to get a Via Venue success, to a concert, how many days before the actual concert should I send the letter?
Thanks a lot,
Nick :razz:

For VV Requests it's best to send about a week in advance. Just put "Please hold for _____on(date of opening concert)" on the back of the envelope. {thumb2}

If it's in the same country, I send about a week before the concert. But, if it's in another country, I sent about 2-3 weeks before the concert.
Good luck on your requests!

Yes I do the same as missmaexox and Ryan J.
Be sure to check with the venue that they pass on fan mail before sending, or consult this list of
Venues that do/don't pass on fanmail, as lots are that either do or don't are listed there already!
Good luck! {thumb2}

You should report these on the thread then. That way the list can be updated so it will help others in the future

not being nasty , but what do the mods care they dont reply to feedback anyway.
what i can say is nearly all venues pass on mail, you just have to be lucky.
persistence gets you a long way.

I am talking about the list of venues that do/don't pass on fanmail:
viewtopic.php?f=125&t=24711
If you post on there the venues that do pass on fanmail then it will help out everyone. We're not talking about moderators here, we're talking about every member, new or old.
There are quite a few venues that do not pass on fanmail so the list helps a lot, it saves people a lot of time and money. Also, someone could miss out on a chance of getting a success because the list says the venue they want to write to does not pass on fanmail. So please have a little consideration and let everyone know {thumb2}
And just do you know, the moderators of the feedback board do reply to feedback. I am a moderator of the request an address board though so that is where I give most of my time
