I sent to a band last week VV and I still have not had a reply, should I give up hope on receiving one or how long does it normally take? I hope I get my things back as I sent a ticket, cd booklet and a pic and they mean everything to me , guess I will learn the next time not to send sentimental things to get signed

i usually give up on a VV after two weeks or so, but i gotta say, don't give up hope!
just last week i received my stuff back signed (from taylor swift) that i sent to a venue in mid july 2008.

Some VV successes can take as long as writing to their agency. Generally people find VV to be quicker but it just depends on whether they respond while on tour or if they take it back with them and get to it at a later date.
Definitely don't give up hope after one week, it's not very likely that anyone would respond in a week, although I know it can happen.
Hopefully you will get a success and get all your things back

Don't worry and be patient It sometimes takes a few months to receive a reply. My fastest VV success was from Jeff Daniels - It took about 2 weeks. {thumb2}

Id wait at least a month, you never know they might take a look at your letter weeks later. I sent 2 requests VV last week and about 3 weeks ago and still havent had a reply but you never know. Dont give up just yet {thumb2}

The band are really obscure ;), but I also sent to P!nk a week ago and included a ticket and CD booklet as well, anyone from the UK had success with P!nk VV?

I sent to Pink VV about 3 weeks ago, havent heard back though

i've sent to P!NK, but the concert hasn't happened yet, so..

But I've seen VV successes on this forum before.
