but i thought i'd start it after personal experience
do you have someone who you think you're just not meant to get their autograph?

for me, it would be Jesse McCartney
i've tried him via different agencies, different via venues, and when i was supposed to meet him, the meet & greet line got cut short just as i was approaching him

therefore, i'm thinking i'm just not supposed to get his autograph...


anyone else have someone they don't think they're meant to have?

I didn't have a chance to meet her but I wrote to her via different agencies and vv...
Unfortunately, I've never got anything back...

zakk wylde... ive written to him vv and several addresses that i have found for him and stood out back at one of his concerts waiting for hours... and i still dont have his autograph...

Yes, Dawn French - It was the first autograph that i wanted and it was my most wanted. This was before i discovered fanmail, and i thought i would be able to get it. Just my luck - She doesn't sign TTM!!!

haha it's funny you made this topic. i mention this in alot of threads that Susan Sarandon. i never get her i tried EVERY valiad address like twice and i tried her VV address twice and no responce! but everybody else is getting her. so i know what you mean it is so Annoying!

All the time. I've sent a number of people numerous requests with no response as yet from any of them. In fact, I'm thinking of trying again really soon (it'll be probably the 4th request to about 3 or 4 people).

One of the ones where I thought I would never get an autograph was Kylie Minogue. While everyone else seemed to have gotten quick responses it took me around 4 tries before I finally got an autograph by writing to her VV while she was in Australia (even though it came back from the UK months later).

I have a pretty extensive astronaut collection, pushing 100 astronauts now...But I'm pretty sure the holy grail, Neil Armstrong, will not be in the stars for me unless I receive it as a gift. Even then I will be skeptical since his autograph is so rare. I was very excited about getting #2 on the list this summer, Buzz Aldrin, but he canceled his book signing "indefinitely", unless I feel like driving 4 hrs to Los Angeles (which is still an option...)

a friend of mine worked on a movie with him and at the end of the filming David signed black and white 8x10s for the whole crew and personalized them all (signed and personalized in silver ink) when he gave my friend his picture my friend said "whos this guy?" and david said "what do you mean? its me!" and my friend handed him a red sharpie and asked him to color his hair red lol... he said David just laughed and scribbled some red hair into the pic lol

yep - for me it's Jackie Chan. I just can't seem to get his autograph!
