How do you write....

to an individual band member? (drummer, guitar player, etc.)
Do I write something like:
Dear so-and-so,
I enjoy your band; I think your great as the drummer! My favorite songs are (insert song name here)
I'm stuck [obviously]. Any help is appreciated!

Mention your favorite song... maybe mention your favorite album/CD.....mention if you saw them in concert that you had a good time....mention you love thier voice. pretty simple but i'm not creative

If you're writing to say ... a guitarist or drummer, do you play yourself? If so, mention that!
If not, how about mentioning you're favourite song / album / concert etc ... and why you like it.
