Hello people of the interwebs...

... just wondered what size of envelopes you guys use for your SAE or SASE envelopes. I recently recieved three autographed photographs all in a4 envelopes with the postage paid by the celebrities agents. I felt bad but many celebs I have written to returned an a5 or smaller autographed photographs.

Thought I would ask some of you more experienced collectors on your opinions!!!

I usually send an A5 envelope!

I send 9x12's, nothing smaller, because I send 8x10 photographs.

I usually send an A5 envelope, but when the celebrity sends out great 8x10" photos, I must buy a bigger one.

i also use a 9 by 12 yellow envlope then i put two stamps on it.

I use 9x12s when I send off for playbills or for autographs. I use $1.05 for the outer envelope and $1.22 postage on my SASE.

(I've heard that you can use 6x9 for playbills too!)

I mail a celeb a 10X15 envelope and inside I have a 9X12 SASE prestuffed with cardboard. It costs $1.05 to send a 9X12 and $1.22 to send a 10X15 (U.S. currency).

I send 9x12s because I send 8x10 pictures for the celebrity to sign.

hey when i sent mine letter to robert pattinson to his uk one i use a 9 12 yellow envlope. but the thing is i heard he use his own do u think he will use my or his own.

I use regular envelopes, that's because I send 4x6 most of the time and it cuts down on postage if I just use regular envelopes instead of larger ones. If I have an 8x10 of someone I really want then I'll use a 9x12, most of the times I just use a regular envelope.
