Just Sent To Katy Perry

I'm from the UK.
I went to the post office to send my Katy Perry letter. I asked the lady how many IRC's i would need to send to receive an A4 envelope. She had never given them out before and she didn't have a clue. I decided to stick with 2 - Is this the right amount? I ran out of A4 envelopes to send Katy as a SAE, so i decided to include a self addressed label - Do you think this will be ok?
