John Travolta signature chipping off HELP!!!!

Today I received two signed phtotos of John Travolta. They are signed in silver pen like everyone else. I have seen this problem with his photos before. The Signature is coming off everytime you touch it!!!! Can someone please help me?!?!?!

On a more serious note... I store my autographs in a binder (with plastic sheets permanently 'fixed' in - I bought it from Partners) and this stores them efficiently, allows me to look at them easily and provides protection for each photo!

I would advise to either frame them and mount them on a wall or buy a binder (similar to mine) and store them in there!

Smudge is right. The best thing would be to frame the pictures.

The best option is to use a frame with a matte (raised edged mount) inside. That way, the front of the photo/auto does not touch the glass.

I agree with Ian and Smudge. Don't touch it.

I would frame it in a "Matted" frame as well.

I have yet to encounter this problem, but I am sure that eventually I will receive a signuature that starts flaking.
