As I was writing a request in my log book I saw that it was the 8,240th letter that I've sent out since I began keeping track in 1986. That comes out to about one a day. This just goes to show you what persistance can do. My advice to all the young collectors is just to send a few a week. You don't have to write to everyone you want to write to this year. Over time you will get a chance to write to tons of celebrities.

Wow Jim, you're such great collector! Over 8000 requests? I wish my collection will be so great as yours one day

I agree with you. I would love to have lots of autographs and have a great collection.... {thumb2}
