Hi my name is Julie and I want to know how many american stamps
should I put on my sase. I live in canada and I am sending to the United States. My sase is a 8 in x 11 in envelope who contains one 8 in x 11 in photo. I usually put 4 american stamps on it but I am thinking that I am putting to much. Thank you {up}

I believe that three would probably be good, but you could always ask at your post officce.

Three first-class stamps is plenty. It's only going over the border, not a big deal for the Canadian postal service. It's not like it's going accross the pond to the U.K.

The others are correct: 3 US stamps will cover the cost of a US to Canada large envelope.

It costs exactly 1.03 according to the usps.com site.

Good luck with your requests. [ugotmail]
