I love Christian Bale, and I was wondering how people got successes from him?
He is quite an opinioned person, so I want to know what I should write to him..

I realise this is ridiculous, but Im nervous about my letter, and I dont want him to think I'm daft.

Well if you've seen the batman films, you can mention how great he was in those. Also check out his http://www.imdb.com profile and look under trivia. This will give a little more info on him. you may find something you both have in common. {thumb2} I've written him twice and got replies both times!

what type of things did you write to him?
Did he send you a letter back? :O

I wrote to him earlier this year and said how brilliant I thought he was as Batman and Brue Wayne, and how much I was looking forward to the Dark Knight and how I watched it twice in the cinema, something which I don't do very often. I told him my favourite scenes and what I liked about his character and asked him if he could sign and dedicate the picture he sent me, which he did.

I had a lot of trouble writing to him for some reason, mainly because I hadn't seen the Batman films for a while and I had to really think about specific moments I liked, so he could tell I did actually like the films.

I wouldn't expect a personal letter from him or anything like that though. He is a very good signer to his fans, and considering he is one of the bigger stars out there today, a genuine autograph is something really special.

I just told him how much I liked the Batman films and his role in Little women as Laurie. I also mentioned to him about my dream or becoming an actor for TV & film that maybe one we'd both get to work together on a future film. Also told him about some of my favorite hobbies ect. ect.

He doesn't write letter back, he mostly just signs photos and returns them, I did include a Q&A Card, but that wasn't returned.

You must include an SASE and provide your own photo. He does'nt accept IRC's. You will not get a response if you don't include both of these things. He seems to do 4-5 batches of fan mail per year. Be patient, because you might not hear back for a while.
